Eskimos – The Eaters of Raw Meat

The word Eskimo is commonly used but is not used by this people. Word Eskimo is an American Indian word which means eaters of raw meat. The correct words are Inupiat and Yupik (in Alaska), Inuit (in Canada) and Yuit (in Siberia) which simple means people. The favorite food of Eskimos is seal, caribou, walrus liver and the skin of whales. With arising ecological problems caused by the global warming and mass hunting of fishing ships arise the problem if this people will survive. But we should learn at least these two basic rules of Eskimos: 1, all members should help each other in the struggle for life; 2, each person should live peacefully with the others.
