The birth of baby jaguars is a rare event as these predators almost never reproduce in captivity.

The kittens are less than one month old but they already weigh several kilos each.

It is their mother who looks after the newborns now. Jaguars are usually kept separately. The triplets’ father lives in his own open-air cage.

So far the kittens have been very quiet.

They allow the zookeepers to examine them.<br />

Sometimes even baby predators show their character.

The world’s most famous zoos are impatient to obtain the kittens.

The zoo has already announced that one of the kittens will move to the Czech Republic.
