Kingfishers – little killing machines
Kingfishers are small bright colored birds that live in both woodland and wetland habitats. Kingfishers that live near water hunt small fish by diving. Their eyes also have evolved an egg-shaped lens able to focus in air and under water while swimming. Kingfishers beat their prey to death. Amazing pictures.

Coming out of the Shell
These birds are coming out of their shell. They’re all very ugly when they first emerge but they get cuter and cuter as they get just a little older. It’s truly the miracle of birth, complete with shell.

Weird Method of Fishing
This weird method of fishing is becoming usual way of fishing in rural parts of China. It’s amazing how this simple people manage to come on this remarkable idea. This looks a bit awkward but it’s working.
